Obscenity and the law

Ever wondered how judges resolve ambiguity in law? Well, wonder no more. Chief judicial magistrate Dinesh Kumar Gupta, of the Richard Gere-Shilpa Shetty kissy kissy fame, gives us an insight.

“After doing an internet search on how various people define obscenity, I asked the complainant to show me the CD of the kissing episode. I found it obscene,” said Gupta.

Brilliant. Maybe it’s time we shut the law schools down and replaced them with internet cafes.
