The Diving Bell and the Butterfly

It would be a crime to corrupt such beauty with something as mundane as a plot; so there is none, at least not in the conventional sense of the term. Without doubt the best movie I’ve watched this year. Life and times of the remarkable Jean-Dominique Bauby, so surprisingly lifting for a subject matter that could’ve so easily been terribly depressing. Bravo!

And I can’t get enough of La Mer, so I loved it when they slipped it into the opening titles. Couldn’t have asked for more.
